Devil's Jig
"Play the devil's jig," shouted the poet Milton Acorn. I didn't know any tune by that name, so I would usually play a reel entitled the Devil's Dream. After Milton's death, I adapted a piece Lennie Gallant and I had written to create the Devil's Jig. It seemed to have some of the crotchety but determined spirit that Milton would have liked.
